Choice Schools

The Adelanto Elementary School District offers 4 choice schools that each family can apply to. These schools strive for excellence by focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics curricula that provide career and college readiness. To submit an application for enrollment in one of the Choice Schools listed below, kindly visit the Central Enrollment Office located at 11824 Air Expressway, Adelanto CA  92301 during the hours of 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
If your child did not attend AESD for the 2023-2024 school year,  please ensure to bring along academic records, attendance records, and disciplinary records to complete the application process.

 

George Magnet and Performing ArtsGeorge Visual & Performing Arts School is a Visual and Performance Arts-centered Magnet School located in the Northern area of Adelanto. Our students gain a foundation of creative skills to propel them into careers in media and arts, while gaining a well-rounded education. Gus Franklin STEM School gives students access to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We are a fully integrated STEM school and currently infuse Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch Curriculum. We are proud that our students, staff, teachers and parents work together to increase students' awareness in 21st Century Learning.

Melva Davis academy of excellenceMelva Davis Academy of Excellence is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) Campus with a focus on Whole Student Learning & Enrichment. Our programs are career-oriented, and taught by a highly qualified staff in specialized classrooms. Located in North Victorville, the school mascot is the Titan, and holds an enrollment of over 800 students.

Victoria Magathan Elementary: Dual Immersion programDual-Language Immersion (Two-Way Immersion) is language learning and academic instruction for native speakers of English and native speakers of Spanish. The goals of dual language immersion programs are language proficiency and academic achievement in students’ first and second languages, and cross-cultural understanding.
